Sean Dillard
Sean founded Second Order in 2022. His advisory experience spans capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, credit facilities, and private fund economics.
He is also a Managing Director, Capital Advisory at Nassau Street Partners, advising founders and business owners on capital raising, M&A, and strategic finance. His work spans financing strategy, valuation, financial modeling, investor materials, due diligence, and transaction execution.
Background and experience
At Boston Consulting Group, Sean advised clients on pricing and revenue management, procurement and cost transformation, and liquidity planning. His work supported CEO, CFO, and board decisions on profitability, spending, and working capital.
At Red Ventures, Sean's work within Healthgrades spanned product development, pricing and financial planning, healthcare client P&L management, and client growth and retention. He ran pharma-partnered marketing programs, developed physician-targeting algorithms, and used performance reporting to guide renewal and pricing decisions.
His work includes SBA and commercial financing analyses, growth-equity operating models, distribution waterfalls for private funds, acquisition underwriting, pricing, and revenue management.
He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in mathematics from Duke University. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
